pyGFF

pyGFF is an open-source python GFF editor, currently rehosted on the Nexus after the Bioware social site was demolished. It’s the tool you’ll need in order to edit a vast majority of the files in Origins and DA2. If you’re ever in doubt it’s usually a good bet to try opening a file in pyGFF first.

If you’re modding DA2, you will need to also download the fnv dump from the link above and import that through Settings > Import Strings, or else the DA2 file names will be unreadable garbage. If you want to mod DA2’s DLC a dump translating the majority (though not all) of those is available for download here.
